  1. No need for a list–I joined my local organic food cooperative and the only paper products they sell are recycled. Expensive, but it is a good feeling to know that my money isn’t being used against me and my community. I’m a low income senior and I simply can’t afford to support any billionaires.

  2. Thank you for this list! I’m sending it to everyone I know..
and to people I will never know! But know this: I care.

  3. Jim

A big thanks. I’ll make sure I look for these products produced by these great AMERICANS who have done so much for our economy and created so many jobs! Those who pull the cart are the real heros.

  4. How about something positive (and easier to follow)? What products are NOT ‘owned’ by David A & Charles Koch and family?

I live in Raymore, MO. What grocery stores boycott these products… Wal-Mart, Costentino’s Price-Chopper, Hy-Vee? I never shop a Target… should I start going there for groceries?

  5. H Marie Poutre

Look for recycled paper products in your grocery store. Brands to consider: Seventh Generation, Marcal, Chinet. I have found recycled paper towels, plates, toilet paper, napkins, tissues and paper for computer printers. Also read labels on packaged goods; many products use recycled packaging. (Many cleaning products can be found in recycled packaging.) Reynolds has recycled aluminum foil. Also look for “compostable” packaging and products. If your store doesn’t carry them, ask for them.

    • Or consider “Ology,” a new brand available at Duane Reade and Walgreens. It’s made of 100% bagasse, the waste from sugar cane, so it’s tree-free. Unfortunately, it’s also made in China.

  6. J. Kretz

I don’t see Kohler kitchen and bath stuff, my understanding is that they own that too. One of the brothers married into the kohler family.

  7. Look into Norwex Enviro products. Eliminate or reduce the use of paper towels in many instances. Reduce the use of chemicals while not supporting the Koch products.

    Boycotting‘s Power Has Been Overlooked

The unsuccessful attempts at Campaign Finance Reform leave citizens little power over the financial influences of special interest. Now with the overwhelming amount of money and benefits from the Citizens United decision going to Republicans, Democrats must assemble public support and strategies to fight the Republicans’ almost unlimited financial strength.

Below are some of the organizations that may assemble who we have been in contact with as of 1/20/2012.

Boycotting the corporations donating to Republicans will have an impact and restore some sense of control in a population extremely jaded by special interest.
As for Corporations and special interest, why expose yourself by donating if your going to become public enemy #1 ?
Americans need to beat the special interest money and have been unsuccessful with every attempt. Boycotting gives the strength back to the public in a time when Occupy Wall Street has created an organized citizenry in a discontented atmosphere that only needs a target.

Don’t forget the threat of Boycott had Fox News cancel Glenn Beck. It was a Boycott then Divesting that brought down The Apartheid Empire

The list does not contain all of the Political Activism Organizations, Universities, University Radio Stations, NPR Stations, News papers, Christian Environmental, Environmental or Social Justice Organizations we have been in contact with because the list is growing by the hour.

Color of Change, Move On .Org, The New Bottom Line, Campaign for Americas Future, EJF Environmental Justice Foundation, EDF Environmental Defense Fund, PDA Progressive Democrats of America, Green Conduct, (Dutch Organization who has had great success speaking directly to Shell Oils Shareholders at Shareholders Meetings)
CREDO ACTION, Clean Water Action, SOJOURNERS, Energy Action Coalition, Campus Progress ETC,

We have the people now lets combine our individual strengths into unstoppable boycotts.

All of us should go on the various Facebook sites for these products and call out the Koch Brothers for their efforts in shutting down the government! These sites was designed as PR for the company and this will be hitting people that think these products are good – at a crucial time when EVERYONE is angry for the tea party shutting down the government.

I am listening to a house debate on California water. A while ago I learned that the majority of California vegetable s (if not also fruits) are controlled by Koch Brothers. Is this true? and if true, how much do Koch brothers have to do with this federal takeover of California Water? HB1837. It is sponsored by a Republican and being argued against by CA Dems.

  10. Koch Brothers were in California recently raising hundreds of millions of dollars for the express purpose of driving President Obama from the White House. They really have no other agenda than that. Their money will be pumped anonymously into non-profit superpacs from coast to coast in an effort to destroy the democratic process by poisoning the minds of voters with the best propaganda money can buy and no can can be held accountable for saying it, printing it, because there are no laws governing this conduct. The U. S. Supreme Court has ruled that corporations are really persons and they have a right to speak, too The problem arises as their voices make the whole world tremble in fear because of the power they hold in the palms of their hands.

  11. Brilliant! Koch Ya list of the dung right wing nutters

  12. True American

Thank you for giving me a shopping list of which products to buy to support a great cause,

    • Feslen

You wish to destroy the country, and the rest of the world, then go right ahead. People like you need to turn the light on once in awhile.

  13. tim mitchell

I am carrying the list with & telling everyone I know! So glad to have the list even if my favorite toilet paper ( both of them ) is on the list! I’ll gladly find another so I will not be part of the horrid evil machine buying their way into anything they want at our expense!

Thanks for the list, at least I want contribute to the destruction of our government and democracy. Success is one thing to admire, but greed and
    corruption I despise.

Boycotts are very free-market. I wish you well with your effort. Please consider the power of free markets in all your choices.

  19. Earl Williams Jr

We as African-Americans are 100% behind this cause for ACTION. As the developments unfolded that you “KOCH” funded money to the George Zimmerman Defense Team to a Child KILLER. By us being the most economical spenders of the world. WE STAND TOGETHER TO INFORM YOU THAT WE ARE BOYCOTTING EVERY PRODUCT THAT YOU HAVE ON THE MARKET AND YOU WILL FEEL THE REPERCUSSION OF OUR POWER! BLACKS, WHITES, AND LATINOS STAND TOGETHER UNITED.

  20. Marjorie

All need to go on Facebook to the various different products sites – Brawny, Angel Soft etc and state that these sites are owned by Koch Brothers and are responsible for the shut down of the government. This is a powerful time now and people are really pissed! I just posted on multiple sites. These are designed by the PR groups to promote the products and they HATE to see negative content.

  21. Wow. so much energy here. Keep up the good fight, and live simply.

  22. Cree

Thank you for this list. On my next trip to the grocery store I intend to take a bunch of post-it notes with me (those aren’t tea party products, are they?) and label Koch Brother products–next to the barcode information. Maybe others won’t buy, if they are informed. I don’t think the store can get me on anything terribly criminal. I mean, ‘post its”?. Littering, perhaps, but not if they want my money…

  23. I live in Thomasville NC and I came in contact with a Theresa Koch and my Life became a Disaster every since! I bumped heads with this Dragon and not knowing anything about the Koch brothers made me Realize that she may be part of this Family!! She has caused my entire life to change, but My God! My God!!! I thank the Lord for being on my side, Remember King Nebuchadnezzar, who was mighty and most powerful, could have helped God’s children and he chose not too! Well he Lost his mind and was placed in a dungeon with chains around his neck! Well the Koch boys better be Careful cause God is watching!

  24. Scott

God bless the captains of industry like the Koch brothers. If they were liberals y’all wouldn’t stand against them, it is the ideals you disagree with not the fact that billionaires are donating money to election campaigns.

  25. Darrell

We are back to the Jim Crow era, If you are not familiar please investigate. The disenfranchisement of the masses for the gain of a few has been the way of the so-called upper class in these United States for many decades. This country was stolen then the original inhabitants were cast out as heathens and relegated to small tracts of lands (reservations) They are now described as Native Americans, how about Americans? This was done and is still being proliferated by an intentional disinformation campaign that is not fact-checked enough and disseminated to the general public by the general media outlets.

It has become all too acceptable now to allow prevarications spewed to us via the media during campaigns without consequence. Who is holding these people accountable? Are we now allowing these few to control what we hold dearly, Our Freedoms? Hypocrisy must be exposed and challenged at all cost. To sell out your country, for greed of the love of money is tantamount to treason, to ship jobs offshore for reduced labor cost is treasonous action. That is causing strife, famine among the disenfranchised. Ultimately they end up dead, unproductive and or incarcerated.

We the masses must unite, remove our heads from our buttocks, cease the self-serving attitude and help our brothers and sisters. This country was made to be the great nation that is by the contributions of its citizens. Contemplate that when you stop at a traffic signal, start your automobile, fly to a destination, or fix a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Boycott the people and companies that are attempting to rob you of your choices and liberties by lies and deception. Show your politician that they are held accountable. If you treat me poorly, I Do Not Support Your Business. If I do support you, then I deserve what I get.

BOYCOTT KOCH INDUSTRIES, PAPA JOHN’S PIZZA, DONALD TRUMP, and others that don’t respect you and your rights!!!!!!!

  26. I took a picture of all the products the Koch brothers produce/sell at the grocery store and will now ONLY buy those products. That way my money goes directly back to them and Conservatives! Thanks for the info!

  27. Rolene Kiesling

Have you read “Dark Money”; the story of the billionaires behind the Far Right? author: Jane Mayer; it will scare you the way they are slowly are buying America. Of course, they are against Environmental Regulations, they are one of the makers of industrial waste: let the taxpayers pay for it.

  28. Gerry Blodgett

This list fails to mention that virtually all of the “house” brands of the big-box stores are made by many of the corporations on this list. For instance Kirkland paper towers are “Brawny” (Georgia-Pacific) and Kirkland TP is “Angel Soft” (guess who). So good luck with the boycott idea if you’re on a budget. But the “recycled” suggestion is good.

  29. Ruth Mojica

I heard they also own, via a company, Olive Garden and Red Lobster.
